With the holiday season upon us travel insurance can be expensive for many  pensioners.  Barclays have their package scheme which now insures up to age 80  years; any branch can provide details.  Also, among the multitude of companies doing  this type of insurance, it would be worth looking at Age UK, who specialise in the    elderly population and have no upper age limit.
