Warm Home Discount Scheme

Now winter is upon us why not see if you qualify under the government's Warm Home

Discount Scheme which could reduce your electricity bill by £140 this winter.  The

money isn't paid to you, it's a one-off discount on your electricity bill.

You are eligible if the following applies:

1.  You are getting the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit on 9/7/2017

2.  You or your partner's name was on the electricity bill and your supplier was part of the

scheme.

If you qualify you would have received a letter telling you how to get the discount.  If no

letter was received, but you think you qualify, then phone 0345 6039439

Alternatively, you may be able to apply directly to your energy supplier if they are part of the

scheme, and you are on a low income and get certain means-tested benefits.  All of these

benefits are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis.  Complete details
